Abstract:   (603 Views)
Objective: This study analyzes the content of high school religious textbooks based on the framework of Quranic insights, tendencies, and practical wisdom. Method: This research is fundamental and documentary, employing a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach. Content analysis was conducted using Shannon’s entropy and descriptive statistics. The statistical population included 26 on the Quranic, Arabic, and religious textbooks in the formal education system, published in 2023, with the sample consisting of six religious education textbooks for high school education. Subheadings of each lesson were categorized as recording units. The categories were classified into Quranic insights, tendencies, and practical wisdom. Each domain’s frequency, percentage, and importance coefficient (wj) were measured. University professors confirmed the validity of the research, and its reliability was established through Scott’s Pi coefficient (84.61%). The research tools included note-taking, tables, and charts.
Findings: The results showed that out of 298 categories in the six religious textbooks, the highest rank was assigned to insights (with a frequency of 184, 61.74%, and w1 = 0.347), followed by practical wisdom (with a frequency of 87, 29.19%, and w3 = 0.332), and finally tendencies (with a frequency of 27, 9.06%, and importance coefficient w2 = 0.320).
Conclusion: The findings indicate that high school religious education textbooks do not maintain a balanced distribution of emphasis on insights, tendencies, and practical wisdom. This imbalance appears to hinder the optimal realization of the national curriculum objectives and the Quranic wisdom-based education.
Keywords: high school education, Quranic Insights, content analysis of religious textbooks, Quranic practical wisdom, Quranic tendencies.
